I always pass by this little korean food stall at the basement of bugis junction but have never tried it until today! I bought a chicken stick and korean rice cakes!Rice cakes are made with dried anchovies, eggs, green onion, hot pepper flakes, hot pepper paste, kelp, rice cake, sugar and water. Being someone who couldn't really take spice, I was afraid to eat it outside. True enough, I teared, so embarrassing! I literally felt a burning sensation in my mouth after having a few pieces! They have many snacks in sticks and all of them looks so appetizing including the beef and pork items and i especially like the looks of the potatoes as they are cut into such thin slices.Surprised that the bulgogi at $1.50 per stick with 5 thinly sliced beef and marinated and cooked to prefection. The pork belly is also very tasty at $1.30 for 4 pieces and all the sticks are coated with a very nice sauce.Of course the potatoes not only looks good, they also taste very good.Other items like mushrooms looks very big and fresh.A nice stall with night korean snacks. continue reading
