Shabuya is one of many restaurants under Creative Eateries. It is known for its high quality meat and Japanese Shabu-Shabu (steamboat). At 6pm, we are notified that the restaurant is fully booked even though it has just opened for business. Although the restaurant is quite fully booked, we are lucky are to get a booth table as the table is reserved for a 7.30pm booking. Since the restaurant is known for its meat, we decide to have Kurobuta Pork Shabu-Shabu for 2 set meal, which costs $68.80++.The set comes with different cuts of pork : Kurobuta Pork Belly, Kurobuta Pork Loin, Kurobuta Pork Jowl. As the meat is quite thinly, it is easily cooked with just a few swirls in the hot dashi (broth). Just dip the cooked meat in ponzu or goma (sesame seed) sauce before eating and it tastes extremely tender and juicy.Besides the assorted cuts of pork, the set also have Assorted Vegetables, udon and plain rice. The vegetables and udon absorbed the full flavour of the dashi, and taste quite soft and flavourful. The set also comes with Shabuya Salad, which is served lightly dressed.Lastly we end the meal with sweet and cold mochi ice-cream.Overall the food is served very fast and tastes great. Service is also very good here as used empty plates are cleared quite fast. If not for the prices, I would like to come here often. continue reading

As you can see there are two different soup base - one is the normal one while the other is the japanese soup. I love it as i think minimum preservative is used in it.The salads are good - fresh and minimum dressing that don't cover the natural sweetness of the fruits and vegetables. The meat variety are also very fresh as i think their business is good enough to keep on ordering fresh ingredient for everyday business .Really worth a try even though it might be a little bit expensive.--SGD 40 continue reading

Shabuya Shabu Shabu set lunch ranges from $15.90 - $23.90. Their Wagyu Beef shabu Shabu is cheap and affordable There are two different stocks which include pork broth and soy sauce stock. For more flavourful choose, I would recommend soy sauce stock There are other items selling in Shabuya too which includes Sashimi, Seafood steamboat and tempura and etc. This is a good place to dine in with friends or working colleuge as it was super affordable continue reading

This shabu-shabu place at Vivo City is always crowded with people queuing up to get in. We went there for dinner and ordered the Shabu-shabu set for 2 ($68). We can choose two different soup base. The set comes with shabuya salad. Assorted sashimi. Very fresh.Kurobata pork collar. Chicken sliced. Surimi which is the fish paste. It also has the vegetable platter, and you can choose either rice or udon to go with the shabu-shabu pot. Apart from the set, we also order the Amaebi sashimi ($15.9). The sweet prawn is very fresh, and tasty. The dessert of the day is the perfect ending of this quality shabu-shabu dinner. Thumbs up! continue reading
