The stall is manned by an elderly Uncle. He is always friendly, smiling and attentive. This stall is famous for their soya bean milk and beancurd with dumplings. Their soya bean drink is one of the better ones that i ever tasted. I enjoyed the aromatic soya bean taste with just the right level of concentration with a pretty minimum sweetness level. Their soya bean milk is definitely of a healthier choice. continue reading

I had this bowl of freshly made beancurd with glutinous rice balls. The lady boss asked whether i want a mix of two different flavor of glutinous rice balls which are the sesame and peanut.I agreed with her since i can taste both flavor in a bowl. The beancurd is very smooth like jelly texture. The fun part of eating mixed flavor rice ball is that you will never know what you will get next.Every mouthful of smooth beancurd and the rice ball is really satisfying. continue reading

Soyako is another great place to drop by if you’re looking for some really good beancurd. I like their beancurd as it is not too sweet. I particular am hooked on to th beancurd with gingko nuts as their gingko nuts are quite sweet and well boiled. The serving is also quite big. Value for money! continue reading

I always like to patronise Soyako for their Dou Hua as they do a good job with the Beancurd. It's smooth and the syrup is not too sweet. The addition of Tang Yuan (Glutinous Rice Balls) makes it more interesting in terms of texture. I am sure the Tang Yuan was not handmade but commercially sourced but that did not spoil my dessert. continue reading

Brought a bowl of Beancurd with peanut Tang Yuan.Firstly, the Beancurd is smooth and has a rich flavour, not very bland. As for the peanut Tang Yuan, it was well cooked, soft texture with a strong peanut flavour fillings. Overall the taste was acceptable, not very sweet, just nice. continue reading
