True enough, there is nothing really unique about Wanton Noodles yet it was the most traditional food I like to eat. My friend recommended me came this place, arrogantly opened only during evening and night. I can understand why many patrons went here, huge portion with affordable price. Opted for Wanton for my noodles, I gave up red colour Char Siew. Mee Pok which was thicker version, noodle was simple plain with slight pork lard fragrance. Covered up by dark soy sauce, greenly veggies and few pieces of steamed dumplings were placed on top. Noodles remained springy, texture was just nice without mushy. I stirred up, enjoyed my plate very much. Price was $3.00, definitely worth the value. continue reading

If you just want a simple but delicious lunch, you should check out this stall wanton noodles. I love their wanton noodles as the cooking time of the noodle was just right that makes the noodle so springy. Accompanied by some green leafy vegetables and their homemade wantons, it is considered as a healthy one dish meal whereby you can find all the nutrients in it. What makes their noodle so special is the ultimate special homemade sauce that makes the noodle so tasty. You may ask for some green chili to go along with your meal as it adds on to an extra taste to your appetite for the day. continue reading

I had originally ordered the normal wanton noodles, but seeing as they offer spinach noodles, I decided to change my order to the spinach noodles instead. I am glad I made the change, because the spinach noodles are really good! It is more chewy than the normall yellow wanton noodles and it is great when mixed with their chilli and their gravy. For people who do not like vegetables, you can still get these noodles since they don't have the spinach taste. In addition, the char siew is also worth a mention, it is slightly fatty and very tender, which made it tasty. I will totally recommend the spinach noodles! continue reading

Was meeting a group of friends for lunch and we decided to try Chomp Chomp's wanton mee! Their noodles are fresh and springy and the wantons were warm and yummy. The char siew however was a little tough to me. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the meal with their chili sauce and a separate bowl of soup. continue reading
