While back then I was working in the CBD area, we have lunch there, it is not overcrowded, and is free seating. But the servers there make the effort to help find seats for you.The food I order was sliced beef stew, I have forgotten its korean name, but there will be menu with photos. Decent korean food with decent price, but the stew was so awesome that i finish one bowl of rice with just the soup.(Another visits)Their kimchi ramen with cheese was great too, but cost way more than valuable. So what i did was to order kimchi ramen with pork and add cheese to it. Awesome !!My friend ordered kimchi ramen with cheese, and it is literally just ramen with cheese, and a side of kimchiFood that you should try:Sliced Beef StewKimchi Ramen with cheeseJjajjangmyunConclusion: Definitely somewhere i will come if i crave for korean food and is nearby, cause it is considered cheap among all the other korean restaurant in that area.

I was here quite a few times and it is always crowded and busy during lunch time as it is flooded with working adults. Service time varies too. Sometimes it can be more than 20 mintues when it is very crowded. I waited for around 10 minutes for my noodles.Anyway, I love this jajang ramyeon from the palace at chevron house! Jajang ramyeon is actually a noddle dish with a salty black soybean paste with pork and vegetables. The jajang ramyeon is unqiue here as it is not the typical jajang mian as instant noodles is used and still taste delicious. The sauce is very tasty too. However, it is a bit pricey (SGD $8.90).

A strong fragrance of Kimchi while it was not too spicy, the soup was fantastic.Bibimbap looked attractive, Sunny side up added point to the whole. We satisfied to have meal there, the environment not bad and the price was pretty affordable.

I ordered the beef bulgogi rice set which comes with rice, beef bulgogi meat, a slice of small korean pancake and a bowl of soup. The portion was quite small as I did not feel full after finishing the meal. The beef were little and tasteless, while the rice portion was alright. It costs $7.90 for the meal which I felt the price was average for the quality of the food.

My colleague recalled a Korean restaurant at the basement of Chevron House which was "always crowded". Being the "queue-conscious" Singaporeans we were, we left our office at the indecently hour of 12pm to get seats at the restaurant. Erm.. we were one of the first people there with plenty of tables to choose from. I wish the ventilation of the restaurant was better, because the food was authentic hearty Korean fare. My Seafood stew (Bean Paste/Tofu Soup) set came with a bowl of rice and two sides - kimchi and this noodle/rice cake thing. Pretty satisfying at $11.
