Original Rotisserie Chicken, $13 for 1/3 with 2 additions, $27 for 1/2 with 3 additions, and $42 for 1 whole with 4 additions
He must have had quite an adventure last year for not only did he open a Charly T's 2nd outlet at 112 Katong Mall, he also introduced two new varieties to his signature rotisserie chickens: the Kansas City BBQ Chicken and the Black Pepper Chicken ($15 for quarter chicken with 2 additions). These two dishes are definitely worth trying out for the flavours just seep through the meat. The reason for this is that their chickens are chilled and not frozen so they are always fresh. Also, they are marinated for 13 hours so the flavours just stick to the chicken like glue.
Jumbo Schnitzel Burger, $14
As expected, the signatures we’ve all grown to love are still included in their menu. Remember the original Rotisserie Chicken ($13 for quarter chicken with 2 additions) which he first tried in Germany? Well, it’s still the same old juicy chicken with that classic herby flavour we can’t have enough of. A fan of Kalua Pork ($16)? This spin-off of that indispensable dish found in Hawaii still retains that smoky flavour at the new outlet. Other must-tries are the Chicken Snitzel, Jumbo Schnitzel Burger, and the Negima Salmon Teriyaki. All these dishes are best paired with their delectable sauces and side dishes such as the German Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, and Butter Garlic Rice.
A new addition to Charly T’s outlet in the heartlands is the 8-seater private room and “Charly’s Porch”. This alfresco area has a 60-inch wide screen TV where his fellow foodies can hang and watch sports. They can enjoy these with their friends while having some of Charly’s full measure cocktails CT Bloody Mary, Russian Punch, Esmeralda’s Margarita, and CT signature Martinis.
A visit to Charly T’s is definitely an adventure. When you dine here, you also get to travel the globe through all the dishes that he discovered.
