You can’t go wrong with Olio Café’s Seared Cod Fish (left) and Pescatora Pizza (right)
Scan the new menu and you’ll realise that the dishes are all inspired by different countries across the world. A great choice of a main would be the Seared Cod Fish ($16) – seared Japanese infused cod fish, served with olive and mushroom rice, crispy sautéed vegetables, truffle oil and yuzu butter sauce. This makes for a healthy meal, and the combination of earthy truffle oil and sweet, creamy yuzu butter sauce is absolutely divine.
If you feel like having something a little sinful instead, try the Pescatora Pizza ($14.20). This pizza is every seafood lover’s dream come true. With generous toppings of prawn, squid, clam, crab meat, roasted pepper, chilli achar, hard-boiled egg (and not forgetting mozzarella and cheddar cheese), this is one dish that’s certainly too good to miss.

Craving for pasta? Order either the Crayfish & Crab Claw Meat Sambal (left) and Olio's Special Alle Vongole (right) for an unforgettable meal
The pastas here at Olio Café are definitely also savour-worthy, with two of them that come highly recommended by us: Crayfish & Crab Claw Meat Sambal and Olio's Special Alle Vongole ($15.20 each).
The sauce of the Crayfish & Crab Claw Meat Sambal Pasta is very much akin to chilli crab gravy (we say yummmm!), only with more spice, and the Olio's Special Alle Vongole Pasta is an especially unique dish thanks to the local touch of dried chilli shrimp (aka Hei Bee Hiam) as a topping.

Olio’s Sizzling Brownie… a dessert to die for
Now, here’s the best for last. Dessert is a MUST at Olio Café and you can’t leave the place without biting into Olio’s Sizzling Brownie ($7). A warm top layer of thick chocolatey goodness, followed by the cold vanilla gelato and the crumbly bottom of the brownie combined with the sizzling fudge swimming in the plate, it’s not difficult to see why this dessert is a hit.

Olio Café is an excellent place for that afternoon coffee session with friends
Olio Café isn’t just a place for awesome big meals though. Be spoilt for choice with the wide array of coffee (a big hit here), light snacks, healthy salads and so much more. At Olio Café, it’s luxury that’s affordable so drop by the café with friends and family for a sweet chill out session!
