Durian is a fruit synonymous with Singapore’s rich culture loved by locals. Once every year, Goodwood Park celebrates the love of all things durian with an annual Durian Fiesta. This year, loyal fans can expect their biggest launch to date on 16 March 2015 and it will last all the way until 2 August 2015.
Featuring the best quality durians – namely, Mao Shan Wang and D24 – these luxuriously and creamy flesh are used in making the most decadent desserts. These include Durian Macarons (first image) and Mini Durian Chocolate Wafer Rolls.
The Durian Rainbow Ice Cream Cake (pictured above) is one not to miss out – a vibrant rainbow outer layer covers an intense D24 goodness, making it a perfect cake for durian lovers. A returning favourite Durian Cappuccino Cake will also be making a comeback this year.
All of these novel durian-themed creations will be available at Goodwood Park Hotel’s Deli from 16 March to 2 August 2015. Guests can visit the Deli from 9am to 9pm daily or call 6730 17866 to place an order.
Dessert Buffet with Durian Specialties
Also, from 30 May to 2 August 2015, Coffee Lounge will be serving a durian dessert buffet, featuring 7 durian creations amongst other cakes, hot and chilled local desserts and ice cream. Highlights include the D24 Durian Ice Cream with Rainbow Bread for a nostalgic kick, as well as a live station serving á la minute Durian Pancakes.
