Outback Steakhouse also features an impressive wine list which customers can order when they want to relax
Being in Singapore for 10 years only prove that the restaurant has a strong customer base, and they aim to attract more diners today by constantly updating their menu. Well, OpenRice got the chance to try out some of these new items as well as their signature favourites when the restaurant allowed 12 lucky OpenRicers for a gastronomic night out at Outback Steakhouse.

Choose from the many appetisers on their menu list!
To officially begin the OpenRice Tasty Union (ORTU), 4 appetisers were served: the three new ones are the Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla, Ahi Tuna Chopped Salad, and the Combination Appetiser. Out of the three, the latter was the most special as it consists of sharing portions of the restaurant’s three best sellers: Kookaburra Wings, Aussie Cheese Fries, and Crispy Mushrooms. Need our recommendation? Dig in to the mushrooms first because for sure, these will run out fast. Yes, it’s that GOOD!
The last appetiser is what they are really known for: the Typhoon Bloom. These hand-cut fresh onion strings are coated with Outback’s secret seasoning, fried to a crisp, and stacked up high in one big plate! The OpenRicers couldn’t get enough of this!

Outback Special 11 oz
What is an ORTU without more food, right? Next up on the menu were the four main courses. For those with big appetites, they opted for the Ribeye and the Outback Special 11 oz. When asked what the favourite of their customers were, Marketing Partner Donald Tenorio said that it depends on what the customer wants.

Pork Rib with Chicken
If they want it fat and juicy, they can opt for the Ribeye for it’s well marbled, seasoned, and seared with their 17 special seasonings. For those who want a healthier choice, they can always have the Outback Special which is their signature sirloin seasoned with bold spices and seared to perfection. Luckily for the OpenRicers that night, they didn’t have to choose because both dishes were served to them! And so, they got the best of both worlds!

Seafood Pasta
Steaks weren’t the only ones in the menu for the restaurant was kind enough to make everyone try out their Ribs and Alice Springs Chicken as well as the Seafood Pasta.

Three desserts in one!
A meal wouldn’t be complete without desserts. To end the night on a sweet note, the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, Cheesecake, and Banana Nut Cake were served. These are Outback’s three popular desserts which you can order individually or in a combination platter.
The whole event ended with a special treat from Outback Steakhouse! Eunice E. Muyot from the restaurant's Sales and Marketing awarded them with vouchers so they can enjoy another night out at the restaurant!
