Charcoal is the new black; and Red House Seafood agrees. Despite having more than 30 years of rich local heritage, the third generation family-owned seafood restaurant stays up to date with its recently introduced novel creation, Takesumi Chilli Crab Buns ($8 for 3 pieces).
Available in both steamed and fried variations, chunks of chilli crab meat are whipped into a sweet and saucy frenzy, then stuffed generously in charcoal buns – giving the existing chilli crab buns a contrasting look and slight twist in flavour.
