We are walking around, thinking of what to eat when we notice the poster showing $10.80 set meal. The $10.80 Individual Set Meal which comes with a traditional double-boiled soup of the day and two side dishes. Sounds like a great deal, especially eating in Orchard Road stretch is not cheap. With the service crews wearing traditional Chinese clothing and the decoration that represented the old Chinese era, one could imagine that you are teleported back to the ancient China.We were very impressed with the presentation of our drinks when they arrived. For those who wants authentic Chinese cuisine, Paradise Inn is where you want to go when at Somerset 313. With a wide variety of meat, seafood and vegetable choices, be sure to treat yourself to a wholesome meal. This time round, I tried the Crisp-Fried Crystal Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk. The prawns are fried just nice and topped generously with the salted egg yolk. It savory taste lingers on your tongue and you can taste the blend of prawn sweetness and saltiness of the egg yolk in harmony. The small portion with 6 prawns cost $16.90 and there's also a medium and large option. I also had the Berry Ice tea at $4.50. Paradise Inn had a change in their menu and launches new variety of food into their menu. I always patronize their outlet @ 313 as it is pretty near my office and their set lunch is extra valued for money! This time round, we took their ala carte dishes. Just a few simple dishes that warms my heart on a weekday afternoonTheir famous kong bah bao - something not to be missed!
