FoodA choice of porridge or rice over the cooked dishes displayed behind the transparent glass shelves. Normally, I will have chosen 2 vegetables and 1 meat for $2.50 but today I have ordered 3 kinds of vegetables (meatless) at the same price. Food are of acceptable standards, tasty and not oily with an affordable pricing comparable with most of the Mixed Vegetable rice stalls.Their porridge standard varies from time to time. Sometimes with hokkien style and sometimes teochew. And just this afternoon their porridge are more towards a teochew style whereby the porridge consists more of rice grains, different from the last round which are soft.ServiceThe uncle who is standing outside the stall is the one who gets in touch with the customer first. I still can remember the instance where he cracks a joke but with a solemn face. Cute. Manned by 3 overheads, service is rather fast pace and long queues get shorten easily especially during lunch time.Recommendation / TipsIf you are lucky, you may get a hot bowl of porridge. If not, sometimes their porridge are easily sold out.
