Fried black carrot cake (not really into western carrot cake) is hard to be done right, compared to the white version. The black sauce has to hit a sweet spot or it will ruin the taste. This stall has it done almost right. The sweet black sauce is just a tad too sweet (perhaps too much sauce) but other than that, the carrot cake was well fried and had generous bits of lard.
