This Vegetarian stall has all kinds of delicious vegetarian dishes available on their display counter daily. Always love to grab some green vegetable dishes from here to go along with their porridge or rice as they are healthier choice as compared to those starchy vegetarian dishes. Love the green vegetable stems which are occasionally available in this stall which is very crunchy and full of the natural sweetness from itself. It is very fragrant and even nice to eat it on its own. The charges here are quite reasonable and great for everyone.

This stall always very early in the morning to cater for the early crowd who needs to rush to work early. The stall owners are very friendly and the foods serve here is equally delicious too. The fried bee hoon is chewy and quite fragrant. Love those imitation char siew meat in it which are also quite chewy and taste almost like the real char siew meat. Eat with some cut preserved green chillis will taste even better too.

I have patronized this stall for years but I had a change of heart yesterday. I ordered the fried rice (brown rice) with a few different sides. The potatoes were very well cooked and so were the other vegetables, the char siew was a little oily but tasted nice. The curry was generous and aromatic. However, through the meal, I found a strand of short hair which completely turned me off. I also realized that the plates used looked pretty old which made the meal very un appetizing. As much as I liked the food here, I'm afraid that one-time bad experience was enough for me to shun away from the stall.

My friend and I have tried quite a few stalls at Fortune Centre as we come here every Monday whenever we have class. We wanted to try something new this time, we saw this Xing Hua stall, they serve ready cooked meals as well as cook when order, all vegetarian. I ordered Xing Hua fried mee sua and my friend’s fried noodle. $3+ is considered value meal for nowadays and they cook it whenever there is order. Portion wise, it is considered small. It came with few fried dough and some shredded vegetable, taste wise was bland, I hardly could taste anything, the only selling point was piping hot when served. According to my friend, her noodle taste bland too but portion wise, it was slightly more than my mee sua, price wise also slightly more. While we were having our meals, there were more dinners coming, it seemed this was a popular place for Xing Hua vegetarian food.
