I love yoshinoya because of their student meal set which only cost $6.90 (consists of a main, fries and drink. They have various choices for the student meal such as salmon, beef and teriyaki chicken. This time round i decide to try teriyaki chicken and it is very tasty. I like the taste of teriyaki sauce. however, the portion of the chicken is quite little. Also, other than the chicken, nothing much is nice already (the fries are normal and still feel a little soggy). Ordered the Beef Bowl Student Set Meal at Yoshinoya at an affordable price of $5.90. This set meal comes with a Beef Bowl, a plate of French Fries and a cup of Sjora Mango Peach Drink. The amount of beef given was slightly little and the beef was slightly chewy and unbreakable. However, the taste of the beef went really well with the spice given. The vegetables were very healthy although they were pretty bland. The vegetables went well with the soy sauce given and there was a mild sweetness from the bland vegetables.The French Fries were pretty bland without any salt on them and they tasted nice even though they were not very crispy on the exterior. The Yoshinoya branch I got to sample is located at Bugis Junction. It's quite smaller but the food still tastes great, no wonder it's always packed during lunch time.Aside from the soup, I order their beef rice bowl. This grilled chicken ramen is $5.30 after 10% discount from the ntuc member card.It’s ala carte, where the price is only inclusive of the ramen, without any sides or drinks to go with.The wait for the ramen was around 5-7minutes.It was at the right temperature, slightly at a temperature above being warm.The presentation of the ramen this time is a little disappointing. It does not look quite appetizing when I just got it. We love Yoshinoya for their Beef sets, which are really economical & super yummy. This time I ordered for a Combo meal of beef, chicken & rice, Plus a Miso soup & peas to snack on. I asked for spicy beef, which was well done, spicy & tasty just how I wanted it. The Chicken was yummy too, it was a Teriyaki chicken, was well cooked & juicy & the flavour of teriyaki sauce was great. The miso soup was good too. I love the Japanese rice served at Yoshinoya. I really enjoy yoshinoya’s beef rice bowl. I find that the beef they used somehow is so tasty. They marinated it to be a little on the salty side so when you eat it with the rice, it taste just rice, very tasty. The vegetables on the other hand is a little flat on taste, they should maybe lightly sautee it or something. It is a little hard and had a little raw taste in my opinion. Took their most popular beef bowl for my lunch and ordered the student meal. It comes with a drink as well. The lady at the counter had very good service as she even took the initiative to ask if i wanted chili flakes to go with my meal. I love the food at yoshinoya. The food serving were not too huge but always feel very full after eating. I love the teriyaki chicken and beef slices combo. The chicken were well marinated, soft and tender. The beef slices were thin, not chwey or difficult to bite, and every bite you will be able to taste the flavour. This is the first time i visit Yoshinoya even though i already here for more than 2 years.That time i was really confused where to bring my uncle and aunty for have a lunch.They like Hoka- Hoka Bento as this Japanese restaurant is very famous in our country.So, Yoshinoya has the similar kind of food as Hoka-Hoka Bento.That time i chose, salmon packet 1, but i forgot the complete name.
