There was still some time to dinner time so I got myself a pack of Shihlin XXL chicken to snack on. I like the batter they use to coat the chicken, very crispy. However it gets separated very easily from the meat. I think the auntie was a little too generous with the chilli powder. Each piece is practically coated with chilli powder, making the chicken a little spicy. But as a whole the meat was very tender and juicy.

I especially like to order my XXL chicken from this branch as the auntie manning the stall is so friendly and the size of the chicken is really huge. They add even seasoning to the chicken until it taste really good. the meat is very tender and juicy, not too oily at all. I like the crispy skin, goes well with the chilli powder. The chilli powder adds some hotness to the chicken so it does not taste too bland.

Shihlin Taiwan's Mee Sua is DELICIOUS!!The thick flavourful gravy together with the slurpy mian xian taste yummy! The oysters given is also fresh and juicy. Though it may be a big portion, you can definitely eat at least 3/4 of the bowl in no time!! I really like Taiwanese cuisine, so from time to time I will head over to shihlin to grab some of their Taiwanese food. this time round I bought their egg crepe, they have a number of flavours but I opted for their mushroom and cheese one. I like the amount of cheese they add to the egg crepe, make it very cheesy at every bite. The mushroom is very juicy, makes the egg crepe dun taste so dry.

Smooth and nice mee sua is always the signature dish at all outlets for Shihlin. This is no surprise to anyone that here has one of the most sellable and best flavour of mee sua. The gravy is thick, spicy and filled with the nice fragrant from the dark soy sauce used in it. The mee sua is easy to eat and swallow. The portion may not be that generous, but the quality of it is always there.

My stomach was feeling kind of upset so my mother da bao back shihlin mee sua for me. She asked the staff not to add any oysters in my mee sua as she was afraid it would make me feel worst. I was surprised to see that they replaced the oysters with so much shredded chicken. It was like one pile. I think next time I will order it without oyster. The mee sua is really delicious, very smooth, very easy to eat and digest. The soup is very thick and tasty. I felt so much better eating that.

A good thing about this stall is that the staff will prepare the snacks on the spot only when people order. The waiting time is also acceptable around 3-5 minutes.Firstly, the thickness of every piece of sweet potato was equal, acceptable size, not too thick nor thin.
