Boasting 200 items on the menu, diners can savour comfort food borne from simple recipes characteristic of the typical Hong Kong and Macau cafes, local Singapore favourites, tim sum and tea-time snacks. Different from other Hong Kong Cafes in Singapore, Xin Wang constantly incorporate in the menu lineup some dishes that customers like in Cantonese cuisine and not just signature Hong Kong Bo Lo Buns (Pineapple Buns), congees and noodles.

Located in a slightly isolated park of ang mo kio central, is Djitsun mall. Most people come here only because of Harvey Norman on the top levels or the gym.Xin Wang HKC has been here for a few years but I had never went in to try. I used to frequent hong kong cafes when I was in Shanghai, I miss drinking my yuan yang tea (a mix of tea and coffee)So one glance at the menu and you can see that they serve both traditional hong kong dishes and also western items like baked rice, pasta, chicken chop etc.Ordering is simple, check the items that you want to order and pass it to a waitress and just wait for your food to arrive.1. Braised Beef Noodles ($8.50) dryMy mother's favourite hong kong cuisine and it did not fail her expectations. The noodles were QQ and very tasty. The beef though a bit fatty, very juicy and tender because it had been braised for quite a while. We thoroughly enjoyed the dish and felt that it was pretty value for money as well. I felt that it was too big a portion for myself to finish. Good quality food at prices everyone can afford.Instead of getting my yuan yang at $3.20 a cup. My mother took notice that a cup of tea was $1.70 and a cup of coffee was also $1.70, so why not get a cup of each, and we can make our own two cups of yuan yang! And it worked out! She tarik-ed the coffee and tea and wooolah!~ We got our yuan yang which tasted fantastic!Payment was hassle free, as you just walk up to the cashier with your table number.Definitely coming back here to try more

So we dropped by Xin Wang Cafe for dinner...FOODThe carbona is not that great. The creamy sauce is not creamy and thick enough for the spaghetti to blend into it, and savoring it becomes a chore rather than a pleasure. However, the bkack-pepper chicken taste not that bad. The sauce is rather peppery, and is a good combination when eaten together with the chicken. The chicken meat is also quite tender. This dish is quite cheesy, which appeals for cheese-lovers, but the pork is too hard to bite on. I like the french toast at Xin Wang for its crispiness and the delicious maple syrup. It would taste better if more butter is sipped into the toast rather than placing it on top of it.SERVICEThey are generally polite and fast in service.
