This stall is located in the middle row of Alexandra Village Food Centre, closer to the center. It is manned by 2 men (probably PRCs), so pls make your orders in Chinese! I had to intervene and explained to another foreigner what the guy at the stall was saying...I didn't think that the food will "wow" me much since I already have my personal favourites for Western Food. But it did surprised me when my Chicken Chop Rice was served to my table (yes, 1 thing I still appreciate is being served in a hawker centre w/o having to "sweat" for my food!) and I didn't have to wait long. For a price of $5.50, the portion was substantial for 1 pax! My colleagues noticed the serving size too. Tastewise, it was satisfactory for a protein fix. In a high-traffic hawker centre like this, I'd most likely take this easy option - Food that is decent and is served to my table. Chang Sheng Western Food shall be added to my personal list of the above option!

There's two Western stall in Alexandra Village Food Centre, however, only this stall - Chang Sheng Western Food sells spaghetti. The stall is run by two uncles, one cooking the spaghetti, the other frying the fish/meat depending on what you order. I wanted to try their fried rice but as seen from the photo it was stated SOLD OUT. Curiously, I asked them why and they told me that they can't fried the rice as they did not have the equipment to absorb the smoke at the frying rice area. So it was ban by the authorities. Thus, I tried their chicken spaghetti for $4.50. Cheap and nice. The spaghetti was cooked on the spot and it was really tasty. For a food center standard, I think it's really worth it.
