My hubby took a leave from work today to accompany me food hunting around this heartland area of Bedok/Kaki Bukit. I had a craving for Nasi Lemak, but due to the Ramadan period, there’s almost no muslim stalls open. Decided to try this stall’s bakchor mee, at a cheap price of $3, the portion was surprisingly a lot. The noodles was springy and chewy but has a starchy after taste on its own. But the experience changes positively when you eat it together with a spoonful of the tasty minced pork soup. Firm textured exterior yet tender on the inside is the porkballs.Wanton looked a little weird as its tasty filling was of reasonable portion, but looked ridiculously small when lifted out of the soup because the skin was so largely folded.

Ordered a $3 bowl of ingredients only for dinner add on. On sundays business is so good that you need to wait up to 20min for it. What I like about this minced meat noodle stall is the variety offered, meat balls, dumplings, minced meat, fried pork lard for flavoring. Though its a little oily, i really like the fragrant soup, drinking it piping hot really warms the hungry diner. Will try the stall again with noodles soon.

i'm sure it come across to many that bedok is famous for bak chor mee. But most ppl will associate that to the 2 stalls at bedok 85 instead of this. I ordered a ingredients only option and was surprised by what was served. Not just minced meat and meat balls were served, teochew dumpling was also included. Its bigger than a wantan but smaller than a shrimp dumpling. Soup may not be as tasty but good enough to feed the hungry me.I certainly would come back again. At least there is effort from this stall to improve food variety and not just copy another popular stall. i was there at 1130pm and it was still opened.
