The prices are fixed without service charge and gst included in the price u see in the menu :)If you want a refreshing drink, try the Kiwi Drink, the kiwi is really fresh :)but do not expect anything more :) it's kiwi juice.. If you love sesame paste, maybe you would wanna try their sesame paste (cold) :) It is not so sweet too..However, it is rather thin, I think it would be better thicker. If you love watermelon juice, try this watermelon with grass jelly. The watermelon is fresh and sweet :) The grass jelly texture is so Q! Being a die hard HK dessert fans, I was excited knowing that my favourite dessert chain ( yes, it's my ALL TIME favourite dessert place as i visit HK often and visit to Honeymoon Dessert is a MUST on all visits) had opened a franchise in Singapore. Flocked down to the store, looking forward to my favourite dessert - Egg white + almond tea, but it's not sold in Singapore (Disappointment 1)Nail down to my other favourite - Hashima + almond tea, costs a bomb here. It's only HKD50 in HK!!! (Disappointment 2)Ordered the basic available - sesame paste, walnut paste. The taste for both are BLAND AND TASTELESS!!!!!! :(Didn't expect they'll taste as delicious as those in HK but the ones sold here is not even 1% near to the original taste!!!!!! (Disappointment 3)I certainly won't return for second visit and as a matter of fact i felt sad for the TRUE BLUE Honeymoon Dessert in HK as the quality here will only tarnish their reputation.I'd rather buy an air ticket and fly over to HK to eat the authentic stuff…Read More

the hong kong dessert honeymoon dessert has finally opened here! the Mango Pomelo & Sago is really good, just the same taste at the one in hong kong. fresh mango with sago and sour pomelo with milk. i feel that the mango here is much sourer than that in hong kong, other than that, the taste remains as nice. the sesame walnut soup is really awesome. it is not too thick but it is just rich enough. very smooth as well... the service is really good as well, fast and efficient. great place to hang out and enjoy a good snack.…Read More

Having a sweet tooth and simply a dessert lover, I couldn't resist checking out this new dessert store at Vivocity, especially after noticing the long queue.I always have a craving for mango-related desserts :) so I ordered this yummy mango pomelo with tofu pudding that looked quite yummy (from the mock display). The tofu custard was placed in a separate dish and the mango pomelo tasted just great, sweet and refreshing.The nice experience went downhill when we called for the bill. Even though this item was yet to be placed in the menu, there was a price at the mock display which said $5.80. However, the cashier charged us $6.30 and was very rude when we highlighted the price difference to her. She ignored us after that even though we were seated right next to the cashier point. After a long wait, the boss finally came with the right bill and an apology. While shopping on level 2 of Vivo City, I happened to see the signboard at level 1 which spelt out Honeymoon Desserts 满记甜品! I was so excited tat I told my friend we HAD to go there later to have some dessert hehe. This is my favourite dessert store in Hong Kong.;)So anyway, after a quick dinner at the B1 food court, we headed to 满记甜品 & I ordered the Mango in Vanilla Sauce with Thai Black Glutinous Rice (cold) 芒果白雪黑糯米甜甜 ($4.50). Fortunately, it didn't disappoint me! The standard was the same as the one in Hong Kong, except well, the mango slices weren't as sweet. :) but I give them benefit of the doubt that maybe it's not the mango season yet. My friend ordered the Hot Ginger Milk 姜汁撞奶 ($3.00) but she commented that the ginger smell was too strong for her liking. Nonetheless, this is still a worthy dessert joint to visit. Came across Honeymoon Dessert (Man Ji in Chinese) during my Zhuhai trip in early March 2010. It originated from Hong Kong and recently set up its first branch in Vivocity, opposite Modesto at level 1. My friend and I were very excited. We visited it on 17 Sep 2010 and had its best-selling durian pancake at a whopping $4.50/pc. The pancake is filled half with durian flesh and half with cream and wrapped with a green-coloured skin - like snowskin but of a softer consistency. Taste wise, similar to what we had in Zhuhai and Hong Kong but more expensive in Singapore. The mango pancake costs $4/pc. My friend ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago ($4 ~ $5/bowl) which was disappointing. It did not taste the same as what she had been served from the branch in Hong Kong. It seems thicker in consistency versus the Hong Kong version. We had the black sesame paste with 3 glutinous rice balls ($4 ~ $5/bowl). It was so-so.Be prepared for long queues. Best to go just before end of lunchtime/ dinnertime as most people will adjourn there after meal times. We went there around 8pm on a Tuesday night. Managed to get a table for 4 quite quickly.
