We ordered black sesame snow ice, champagne grape snow ice and mango snow ice!It was only my second time trying snow ice, and I must say it was as lovely as I remembered it to be.My favourite was the mango snow ice. The mango was sweet and pleasing to the tastebuds.I'm not really a fan of sesame, but my friends were and they loved the sesame snow ice!In my opinion, I thought the champagne grape snow ice tasted very sweet and sort of how grape sweets (Mentos, perhaps) taste like. Overall, a satisfying dessert!

Swj ordered the champagne grape snow ice, which he mentioned that he tried this a couple of times before. At first, Ialso set my eyes on this dessert but decided to change my choice. (I sometimes wonder if my purpose of eating adessert was to enjoy or for photography.) The ice was infused with the strong and sweet flavor of grapes. Grapes wentwell with grape snow ice (same taste merged well) and I found those agar agar balls served no purpose besides spoilingthe dessert itself. As for me, back to square one! My comfort flavour of green tea with red bean snow ice. I enjoyed the mild bitter taste of green tea with the red beans. Actually those red beans were too sweet and I hoped they used azuki red beans instead! As for Gbk, he wanted something hot after coming out from the freezing cinema. A bowl of thick black sesame paste wascomforting enough for him.Kjf and Lzw ordered the same dessert, which was a bowl of peanut tung yuans. This was something I would notappreciate (exclude the tung yuans) as I disliked most peanuts. Not quite sure how many tung yuans were giventhough and I really had a hard time trying to make this picture clearer and more pleasing to the eyes!

I am one who believes in having dessert after a meal if I eat out. As the saying goes, there is always room for desserts. Therefore, it is no surprise that my friend and I are carving for some desserts after our dinner. We decided to stop by dessertstory for our dose of desserts since that is the closest dessert outlet. We are actually undecided on the flavour of the snow ice, but we eventually settled on the champagne grape flavour since it is one of the newer offerings of snow ice. The snow ice is a lovely hue of purple and white(as you dig in into the ice), with halved grapes and some round sago as its toppings. I only wished it tasted as great as it looked. The snow ice is far too sweet for both of us and we both felt we couldn't taste the champagne(which we presume is the white ice) at all. Thumbs down for this flavour.
