I got to agree that they served using rather fresh ingredients though the taste is a bit disappointing. Though requested for an extra amount of chilli to be added but it did not have any impact on the level of spiciness. The texture of the pork ribs was pretty good. It was not overly soft but just nice. The mee pok was cooked a bit too soft to my liking. The sauce mix did not quite taste the other prawn mee but nice in its own way.

The auntie from this very stall has a remarkable smile coupled with a warm personality that attracted customers to her stall. i tried once, and back today for lunch as well as to take a picture of the noodle to be posted together with my review on here. Having tried the better one, i would not hold a high regard for this particular one. The chilli was rather different as compared to its competitors though i requested for extra chilli but the level of spiciness was still pretty mild. The 2 pieces of pork ribs were soft and tender which is a good effort. And, the prawns tasted fresh too. That bowl of soup was quite a disappointment, it was served luke warm and with very little prawn taste. The red cut chillies that served along with the noodle soaked in the dark sauce rather than the usual soya sauce. If you have no comparison then this is quite a nice bowl of prawn mee in its unique way.
