Pontian Wanton Noodle comes with 2 wanton in soup and 2 fried wanton. The wanton has a small amount of minced meat. The wanton is tasty as I can taste there is flat fish added to the filling. The noodle texture is different from HK or Sarawak type. It is not soggy and you can choose the sauces combination. Normally black sauce is added in the West Malaysian style. I am quite a big fan of malaysia style wanton noodle and i am always looking forward to eating it. I love to toss my egg noodle well with the black sauce and chilli and had it along with slices of Char Siew and the crispy fried wantons. I always ordered an extra bowl of fried wantons but i enjoyed eating the soup wantons too, the fried and the soup wantons are equally good, i can taste the distinct dried flat fish taste in them.Their type of noodle is slightly thinner than the local style wanton noodle and it does not clump together even it has been left for a while. Nice wonton noodles. Famous chain. There is only one thing on their menu so when you go to order, you only tell them you want 1 or 2 or 3. You can vary from the menu. The menu is basically one bowl of wonton noodle with bits of char siew and some green stuff and their famous sauce. And 2 crispy wontons and a wbole of soup with another 2 boiled wontons. Standard. Nothing else is on offer at this stall. You can choose to buy extra crispy fried wontons for only about $3 for a lot of extra wontons! I think there's about 14 for $3. Service is terrible. Wanton mee has always been my favourite, especially the one at Pontian. I ordered takeaway, small size normal with two soup wanton and two fried wanton. The portion is just right for me. It costs $3 for the small bowl and an additional $0.20 for the container. It is a cheap and satisfying meal. The noodles still taste as good and the standard maintained. Though the rave on Pontian wanton noodles had died down as compared to in the past when everyone crowded round the stalls. I will come back to Pontian Wanton Noodles for more of its wanton mee. …查看更多
