One thing you have got to love about crystal jade my bread stalls are the discounts they offer after peak hours. The discount may seem minute but you actually save quite alot.Got myself a Char Siew Po Lo Bun. The bo lo bun is sweet though they could do better. The outlook is very nice though. The char siew is nice tasting and the bread is soft to chew on. If only the bread was hotter and crispier, this would be the top of my daily breakfast list.…查看更多

Not only Macau have portugese egg tart, crystal jade have the famous egg tart too. It won't lose out to macau for their crust was nicely baked and yet slightly crispy but soft. If you like to eat at a Hong kong eatery or restaurant, you will love Hong Kong pastries too. At least it is for me. The lao po bing that crystal jade my bread sells is really nice and delicious. The outer layer of the lao po bing is very flaky and one bite you can see the different layers of the pastry. As for the inner fillings of winter melon paste, it was sweet. Crystal Jade is well known for their xiao long bao and la mian, but I wouldn’t quite say the same for their bread. I ordered the pork floss bread, hoping it will satisfy my cravings but it didn’t turn out well. The bun pastry tasted dry, almost tasting like an overnight’s bun. The amount of pork floss on the bun was spare, I would say the staff were not generous with their toppings. It costs $1 plus for a bun, a reasonable price for bread on average. But I feel it’s not really worth it for this bun as it doesn’t really taste good. Interior design of the shop looks alright with their brightly lit lightings and variety of buns layout in the store.
