Sold at $1.30 each, this yam pie is one of my favourite snack from Old Chang Kee. The snack is fun size and not too filling and good if you need to much on something or want to eat something that will not spoil your dinner appetite. The yam filling is creamy and burst in your mouth once you sink your teeth into the pie. The crust is crispy and not too oily and goes well the yam filling in it/ The yam filling is not too sweet and not too oily and I liked it a lot 繼續閱讀

Love old chang kee and their amazing fried snacks! Would get them once in awhile to satisfy my fried food craving! Decided to get the Chicken Mushroom puff this time round and it was good, as always! Love the outer crusty layer and the filling was tasty and flavorful as well! Love the unique blend of chicken and mushroom and would definitely get this again next time! The fried fishballs and currypuffs here are also pretty good! Actually, wouldnt you agree that all fried food taste amazing! haha 繼續閱讀

Curry puff from Old Chang Kee is one of the oiliest ones because it is deep fried compared to others which are oven baked. I try to avoid eating their curry puffs most of the time, however, I was too hungry that day so I just bought one to satisfy my hunger. It was crispy at the sides and was still hot. The only thing I like about their curry puffs is that there are a lot of ingredients inside- pieces of chicken, a quarter of an egg and lots of potato. Old Chang Kee, established in 1956, is an popular snack chain specialising in curry puffs and other fried local snacks like sardine puff, sotong ball, fish ball, carrot cake, taro pie, squid, chicken nuggets, etc. I never fail to get the curry puff instead of the other varieties whenever I patronise Old Chang Kee.
