Someone might be surprised to know Chicken Soup Hor Fun was typically from Ipoh, Malaysia. Lao Shen Ji Shi Mian was located in between Toa Payoh MRT and Braddell MRT, their dishes were mostly handmade.The stall had been here for quite some time, business was rather with the visit of many regular customers. Occupied almost two stall spaces, it looked clean and neat in appearance. Waiting time was not too lengthy, suitable choice for quick lunch time fix.Noodles were pale yellow in colour, in fact it was springy. Chicken was thoughtfully torn in thinly pieces, tender and soft without overcooked. Unfortunately, Mushrooms and Pork lards added were not my favourite. Yet the taste was awesome with some drizzle of vinegar, simply hearty noodles served. Decent soup was accompanied along as well, two fishballs were given. I often come here for lunch,but i never really notice this store,this store is near the famous bun stallcause i was hungry and this stall no queue so i just give it a tryOrdered the dry noodles,noodles lack of sauces,they give too little,mushroom was hard,not well marinated,but noodles was very QQ,As for soup,it's chicken soup,very light and sweet,but dumpling was so small and only 2piece,dumpling was not niceWaiting time take less than 5mins,but boss was a bit stingy,asked for extra chilli,he told me your noodles is already spicy,so there's chilli inside:(Portion very little,price average,food so so,i don't think will try again…查看更多
