This stall seemed to be doing really good business as they are occupying the space of 3 stalls! We decided to give this stall a try. The sambal stingray was fresh and meaty topped with lots of yummy sambal. Slurp!This was really good too! Just seeing the pic is making me drool again. There were a lot of meaty clams which made me really happy (the clams from some other stalls are often very tiny and most times alot of the clams remain closed) plus the sambal was super yummy! It was sweet, savoury and spicy and I could just have the sambal with rice alone Definitely recommend this stall!

It was my first time trying this zi char stall and it didn't disappoint! Ordered stingray and oyster pancake. The stingray was really good and spicy which suites my taste pretty well. The oyster pancake was cooked pretty well but just that there wasn't much oysters inside.

Almost everyone around us seem to be eating from this stall. so my mum and i decided to order something from them to try despite already ordered our food from other stalls. we ordered their seafood bean curd. i was truly surprised by the portion of seafood. they were seriously generous with their seafood. all were very fresh. the bean curd was really delicious as well. their gravy was exceptionally tasty too. i was really impressed.

For a tze char store, Star Young Kwang does pretty solid dishes. Don't be deceived by this humble-looking eatery at Alexandra Village Food Centre!I've been here several times but this time I was just "snacking" so my friend and I ordered a medium sambal stingray and 12 pcs of prawn paste chicken to share. I can't remember how much was the stingray but the chicken was $14 for 12 pcs. Pretty cheap I think?The stingray was really good, one of the better ones I've had in a long while. It's not too spicy with just the right amount of sweetness. Lots of meat too.As for the prawn paste chicken, it was also quite impressive. Most places don't have that strong prawn paste flavour to the chicken, but this one was good enough (although I've tried even stronger-tasting ones). Definitely coming back for more!

Came by this stall at the SFF 2013 at Bayfront and wah.. I must say this dish stole the limelight for my evening there! The chilli crab sauce was sooooo good! Not too spicy but just enough kick, and i really wanted to mop up the sauce with some bread.. Cray fish was very fresh and for the price of 4 crayfish with a 20% promotion, it cost $12.50. Quite worth it! Give me this over chilli crab anytime! Now that i know where why are, I think im gonna go to their stall now!
