a nice meal with the in-laws

i brought my in laws to wah lok for a nice meal. the food quality there is indeed delicious. all their ingredients are fresh namely their seafood. their prawns and lobsters are succulent and sweet. their duck is another must try dish. all of us really enjoyed our meal!

wah wah wah!

My dad made reservations at wah lok for dinner the other day. It was to celebrate my mum's birthday. We ordered their fish, roasted duck and plenty of other dishes.My sister and I both agreed that the roasted duck was the best dish on the table! The duck was drenched in this really mouth watering gravy. It was roasted till quite crispy. Really delicious.

My family brought my grandfather to wah lok to celebrate his 80th birthday. We wanted to bring him to somewhere nice to mark this special occasion. The entire place was very classy. The food was incredibly delicious!We ordered quite a number of dishes but the best was the scallop! The scallop was really fresh, it was chewy and sweet. Cooked with the gravy, very tasty. We ordered quite a number of dishes but the best was the scallop! The scallop was really fresh, it was chewy and sweet. Cooked with the gravy, very tasty. There were other dishes like the fish and duck. All very delicious.

My grandfather was really satisfied with the food and the ambience.

crispy, tender & juicy dim sums

I had a great dim sum experience here for a relative's bday celebration. It was a buffet, hence we ordered as much as we could and really 'pig' it out with the widespread of dimsums!! The egg tarts came in 'mini' size - (a lil smaller than the palm) and it tasted crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Love it! I also ate some custard buns, they tasted great too. Roasted Pork is a must-have for chinese celebrations (esp birthdays). When i had my first bite, i was 'WOW' by the combined texture

The egg tarts came in 'mini' size - (a lil smaller than the palm) and it tasted crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Love it!

I also ate some custard buns, they tasted great too.

Roasted Pork is a must-have for chinese celebrations (esp birthdays). When i had my first bite, i was 'WOW' by the combined texture of the skin(crispy), meat(tender) & fats(juicy).

It was a bday celebration for 60th. Hence we also had a big plate of longevity buns (寿桃) on our dining table. It came with many small buns and a giant one!!
I love eating these buns because the lotus paste fillings are sweet.

I believe this restaurant will serve as a good choice for reunion dinner for CNY 2011!

A gut feel of harmony immediately rush upon us, infusing the warmth within.

We were there to celebrate my father’s 59th birthday and this may perhaps made it all worthy and valuable to be able to spend quality times with our family and loved ones. Their line of dim sums consists of the usual suspects which are the ever popular Siu Mai, Har Kao, Egg Tarts and their famous Bo Lou Ba a golden encrusted bun bursting with hot aromatic char siar which is a must have for all regular patrons. Meat lovers will definitely appreciate on the selection of limited portion of Roasted Pork, the all time favourite for many. Roasted to perfection while retaining the succulent texture on every bites, this mode of cooking reflects highly on the skill of the chef.

None will be left disappointed upon setting their taste bud on their exquisite range of dim sum. Action speaks louder than words with their service staff being brisk and efficient to handle any mode of demand. Wah Lok made it all justifiable for their no nonsense food quality and unpretentious mode of presentation. Wah Lok…the pride of Cantonese dim sum with a platform comparable to heaven…YUM CHA at its finest!
