A sudden crave for Satay, I randomly called a few friends for supper. Lively stall, the night was always young at here. The waiting time was shocking fast, smoky chunks were attractive it just served. Leftover four sticks each flavour, we greedily grabbed once counted to 3. Varieties of satay served yet I prefer the tradition one, I ordered Beef and Chicken. Skewered meats were well-done, slightly burnt fragrant and tender meat. I was craving for satay so I headed to this stall with my girlfriend. We ordered a dozen sticks of the satay. This stall satay is really delicious. it is marinated perfectly and cooked simply perfectly. The meat is so tender with some charred bits. The satay gravy is really good, very thick and tasty. You can see and taste the peanuts. It is not too oily as well. we only ordered the chicken satay as my girlfriend don’t like the other meats. This stall is manned by an elderly couple. I think it has been running for quite a long time which explains its fame and long queue during weekends. I had to wait around 40minutes for my satay so it is lucky that I remembered to order this first. The satay meat is tender and not too tough to bite and it has a balance of lean and fatty meat which makes is a real delight. The peanut sauce or satay sauce also has pineapple in it which is quite rare. I only know of another outlet in alexandra which has satay with pineapple and I feel that this adds more depth to the satay. Definitely recommended!…查看更多

Ordered a total of 20 chicken and 20 pork satay stick for 5 people.Firstly both the chicken and pork are well marinated, tender and juicy texture, well cooked. However the amount of meat per stick is lesser as compared to other satay stall. Secondly, as for the satay gravy, it is quite different from other stall as their satay gravy has added grated pineapple and not watery. But the presence of the grated pineapple did not bring out the pineapple taste, the peanut was too finely chopped. Lastly, for the rice, it is well cooked and has a nice texture. It's my all time fav satay I tried before their chicken & pork & i find that their pork satay is much tastyTheir chicken & pork is very well marinated Pork is chewy & juicy with a very strong lemongrass fragrances Usual pork will have 3layer,meat,fats & meat The middle part of the fats was so juicy & soft The peanut sauces was quite unique as they add in grated pineapple& also the timing sometimes will take up to 20mins to 30mins Overall i rate 9/10…查看更多

Chuan Kee Satay serves succulent and juicy satay. They cost $0.50 per stick for a decent amount of meat. We had a $5 plate, 10 sticks, 5 of pork and 5 of chicken. I also requested for more onions and the lady was pleased to oblige. Both meats were tender and lean and bursting with flavor. The peanut gravy was a little on the oily side but at least it wasn't watery and the peanuts were fragrant. Quick and efficient service too but they'd require a "pay at the stall first" regulation.…查看更多
