Kim Wah Heong started in 1981 and prides itself on its unique way of preparing their Bak Kwa. Instead of using the electric grill, their Bak Kwa are prepared using the traditional charcoal grill.
This is based on the belief that charcoal grilled Bak Kwa has a distinct smoke flavor and it helps to retain the authentic flavor and juiciness in the meat.
