I got some butter cake from this bakery to keep for breakfast. The texture of the butter cake was a bit too dry. It did not taste as buttery as expected too. I would prefer it to be softer and more moist with a more intense butter taste. It has got a slight chocolate flavor though. The level of sweetness was just right. It tasted better when i have it with my coffee for breakfast.

My mum got this cake for us for breakfast this morning. Previously, we only tried the mini egg tart and this is our first time trying the swiss roll. There are various flavours, but my mother got the pandan one as it is one of the more popular rolls according to the stall helper. It is really not bad - the pandan taste is very fragrant and the cake is soft and not too sweet.
