My wife and I find the food at the Foodcourt in Clementi Mall to be too pricy, hence we made our way to the coffeeshop here. I orderd a plate of chicken rice for myself and I was surprised that they actually separated the chicken from the rice. The chicken dish had a bit of gravy in it and the gravy includes sesame oil as the sesame oil taste is very distinct. Chicken Rice is quite common in every market, there ought to be a few stall selling chicken rice. Spotted a queue for this stall and went ahead to try. Did not request for any specific chicken part so was given chicken breast meat. Chicken breast meat is a bit rough and not so tasty. I have to mix the meat with the sauce to add more flavours to my chicken. The soup is just MSG soup, nothing fantastic and the rice lack that bit of flavours too. It will only qualify for an average rating from me.
