Needed a birthday cake for a friend's birthday on the pronto, so I headed to a nearby Breadtalk and they have a huge variety of cream cakes for sale. Most of their cakes are light sponge cakes.Decided to go with a strawberry shortcake at $36, I think it was a bit pricey, as it was very small and barely able to serve 8 pax.The strawberries were big and sweet, and the cake was very light. I could definitely devour this whole cake without getting a sore throat or feeling heaty. All in all, a great choice for those who do not like chocolate cakes, and need a cake for a sudden occasion.
