I remember passing by this Hongkong Egglets kiosk at the basement of Bugis Junction and my friend recommended me to try it some other time (we were too full that day!). Anyway, I got to try those egg waffles today at the outlet in Vivocity! I bought 2 flavours while waiting for my friend to arrive and I was kinda surprised by the size of it! Besides the Original, there are seven other flavours, which are Chocolate, Chestnut, Pandan, Cheese, Pizza, Chicken Floss and Spicy Shrimp. I got the Chocolate and Pizza flavour. I expected a chocolate filling to be inside but there was none, just airy chocolate flavoured waffles which are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you are craving for something savoury, Pizza will be a good choice!
I also like the packaging! The little holes at the sides help to keep the egglets crispy! I will definitely try the other flavours when I need a good bite-sized snack next time!張貼
