Durian lovers will be impressed by the durian puffs here. Normally I will buy a few boxes which are in half dozen to share with my family. The puffs are really soft and fluffy in texture. The durian paste in it is definitely the main reason why they are so popular here. The durian used is abit of the bitter flavour but yet with slight sweetness in it too. It is thick and creamy and the is best to eat it when it is cold. Another good point about these durian puffs is that they are also not too sweet too.

Love the creamy flesh. D24 actually has a pale yellow flesh and not bright yellow like some other types. It is still bitter sweet even though the flesh is slightly wet and moist and not dry like other varieties. This is one of the most popular variety and it is usually always available. Very expensive and sometimes there are worms in the durian! They will exchange for you if you find a worm. Love durians so can't help eating it all the time! The prices are not friendly here...

For lovers of durian people seem to be drawn by the pungent alluring fragrance, and so our noses lead us to 717 Trading at Serangoon.The place is spartan; a few tables and chairs strewn out the front of the shop. You don't find plush seating or all those creature comforts you tend to expect at a restaurant; what you see is what you get. But don't be put off by all of this; you make the journey for what matters most; the durian and I tell you this now, these fellows know their stuff. We happened to eat the Mau Shan Wang durians and they were heavenly. Ordering a mix of bitter and bitter-sweet durians we ploughed through a total of 16kgs can you believe it. Each bite was savored with kiddish delight and we ate until we could eat no more!If you love your durians, this place is the place to go.

Ever since i could remember, i have been a durian fan! While others may detest durians, i'm crazy for the sweet, thick and rich flesh and drool every time the durian season is here!However, as December isn't the best time for durians, i can only make do with the delicious durian puffs from 717 trading, located at Highland Centre!The pastry itself is soft and light, but not as fluffy as i would prefer. However, the rich and creamy durian filling makes up for the pastry in so many ways! Not only is the filling generous, it is made of real D24 durian and is really rich in flavour!Although i would go for the real fruit anytime, i will gladly make do with this delicious durian puffs anytime! At $4.70 for a box of 6 mini puffs, it is well worth the prize!
