There is really nothing I am not satisfy from the food served here at Aston. Fish and chips are very crispy and not too oily, with very fresh and soft fish meat inside. Besides, there are wide range of free flow salad, soup and fruits to have it on their buffet spread. Love their mushroom soup which is very creamy and thick and full of mushroom dices in it. I ordered Smoky Baby Back Rib ($37.9). The sweet and smoky ribs were beautifully done (not much charred part) and full of flavor. However, it still retain its firmness and not those falling-off-the-bone type of tenderness.This is a medium done Ribeye ($31.9). Ribeye steaks are characterised by the rich marbling and hence are well known for their tenderness. What happened here was a quick lunch at Astons @ The Centrepoint. I was having a massive craving for pasta so I didn't order the teaks or slabs of meat that people usually get at Astons but I chose the Beef Bolognaise (comes with a Soup of the Day) - $9.50++.Soup of the Day was Mushroom Soup - my favourite! I've always liked their Mushroom Soups, thick and full of mushroom flavour plus a generous dollop of pepper. Oh my, I love pepper even though it's a lazy shortcut to win my heart and tastebuds. My only gripe was that the Garlic Bread was too tough to bite and the butter is never spread out evenly (happens all the time at different branches too). Beef Bolognaise at Astons is a mistake, now I know. I should have stuck with the usual steaks offerings. When I thought nobody could mess up such a simple pasta dish, it happened here. The spaghetti tasted half-cooked and rather raw, despite quite a long waiting time of about 15 minutes. The rest of it was almost tasteless, not sure if it's because the soup was too flavourful and numbed my tastebuds. It was very uninspiring and did not satisfy my cravings. The topmost layer was the usual lettuce, tomato and mayo. Second lays a thick layer of fried onions. Beneath the slightly saltish batter revealed sweet onions which were perfectly fried to crispiness. The batter was little close to that of the seasoning of Aston's fries. Even after sitting aside for some time, it still maintained its crispiness very well. Next reveals strips of crispy bacon, slightly charred at the edges. First time going to Astons at Centrepoint. It has a salad bar within it. Great! This is what I have gotten from the salad bar. Warm baby carrots, cheery tomatoes, cool cucumbers and fusilli pasta All my favourite <3 There are other warm side dishes at the counter too. It is my first time coming to this outlet for a meal. This outlet is different from the usual outlet as there is a salad bar, drink bar, soup bar, and side dish bar which is free flow to help yourself to. Kind of reminds me of Sizzler.[IMG:1]I am having the Grilled Chicken Dinner ($21.90++) which comes with a choice of fries or baked potato. The chicken is quite small, surrounded by lots of fries. Quite juicy, but also quite oily.My friend is having the Fried Fish ($23.90++) which is very crispy.The spread in the free flow bar is quite wide. The buttered and roasted vegetables are very nice and tasty. The corn soup for that day is quite watered down. The cheese sauce for pasta is creamy and cheesey. Today felt like a non beef day.Although this was probably the most ironic things since I was at an Astons outlet specializing in steaks, I decided not to order a steak option.But instead made an order for chicken.Chicken provencale.With a baked potato and mash. Sadly though, the patty wasn't anywhere near deliciously juicy, the thoughts I was envisioning as I took a bite of this sans huge blooming onion layer.This was minced beef that was dry and tough to swallow. It didn't have much taste on its own and was made superbly salty by the bacon, cheese and was it barbecue sauce?This definitely needed the burger buns to counteract the salt levels.No complaints on the onion though. It reminded me of the blooming onion at Outback. Fried to a crisp on the outside, sweet albeit oil soaked onion pieces encased within. Ask for sour cream to go along with this. This is the first time im dine in Aston not at the express stall.The place is more comfortable and nice.This lemon chicken chop is not bad.the chicken is soft and tender but the lemon sauce is abit weird.But it like the onion ring and the home warm salad.They are very nice.It is weird for me to drink coffee with Astons because i seldom can order it.This black pepper chicken chop is nice too.With the big portion of fries and the pasta salad.I really feel very full after finish them.Both dish cost $6.9 with 2 side dishes.It is really worth.…查看更多

If you want to go for reasonable price for Western Food and not to worry about the quality, go for Astons!I love the way they give so many choices for side dish such as mash potatoes, cold pasta, onion rings, cold salad,...I love their cold pasta. It's so delicious and it tastes even better having with the steak. Their onion rings are very crispy too. For the steak you can either order rare, medium and well done. This was the first time I dined at this chain of restaurant. I have heard a lot of them though. I thought the price would be dear but to my surprised, it was quite resonable. We were not very hungry, so we ordered two sets of soup and steaks to share among the four of us. I ordered the ribeye X, heavier steak, medium well as my girl would be sharing with me. The two side orders that I chose was meshed potatoes and mushroom.The mushroom soup was very rich and tasty. Garlic bread was crispy. Astons Prime is just the same as Aston or Aston specialty for me, the menu and price is still the same, and just equally delicious!! I love their chicken set, because they are really cheap and delicious!!! I ordered the rib eye steak from Astons prime at The Centrepoint! The service here was very good, and the manager who took our order was humorous and knew the menu well. I ordered my steak medium rare- just the way i enjoy my steak. For the sides, i ordered baked potato and mushrooms (which were hidden under the steak in the picture). Is it an expensive version of the Aston Express and Aston Specialty? Aston Express is those at the coffee shop, while Aston Specialty is for youngsters. However I prefer to go specialty than prime, I think the serving and the food taste is pretty much the same, only that the price difference. Prime has a cozier environment; I think it is mainly for the different target audiences. Ordered a medium rare rib eye with pasta and green salad. Steak was juicy and nicely cooked.
