This is ban mian soup I had ordered from south canteen. The noodles were thin noodles, in mandarin we called it as ‘you mian’. There were fried shallots and anchovies as topping. One egg, chicken meat and some cabbage were added to cook together with the noodles. I like the soup too. Mee hoon kuey is quite average too. nothing special about it, but i'll still visit this stall when other stalls are long queue though.

Have been eating at this ban mian stall umpteen times. The price is reasonable and the serving of it is big too!! love the soup as it is quite tasty with milk added into it. The fried fish could still be improved on as i feel that it is kind of soggy and doesnt taste very well. But for the price and the serving i think it is still worth it to give it a try. the queue could get quite long during lunch time. and they usually give those fried egg as a topping too which i love a lot.
