It's my friend's birthday and she chose this place for the celebration cos it looks similar concept as Fullhouse theme restaurant at Rendezvous hotel which we liked very much. We were quite disappointed with this place...other than similar looking decor, this place is nothing like Fullhouse. Food is expensive, service is slow. Food here is largely a hits and misses affair...some tasted quite alright, some are nothing to rave about...and all comes with a hefty price tag


The best dish of the day is a $24 appetizer...Scallop with prawn & caviar. 4x Prawn and scallop pairs topped with cavier, fresh and well cooked.

Another expensive appetizer...Baked Portobello mushroom with cheese, $16 for one freaking mushroom! And it just tasted ordinary.

The mains (meat dishes) are all above $30++ per dish and serving portion is small.

Kurobuta pork chop $32...my friend who goes on frequent biz trip to japan said this ISN'T authentic kurobuta.

My order, Red Malabar Snapper $32...I couldn't tell whether this is real malabar or not but the fish was fresh and well cooked albeit being very small in portion. I'm still hungry after the meal

Some other friends ordered pasta dishes...they tasted ok.

About the service...ice water need 20mins to pour and serve..in several batches. Food waiting time min. 1hr...reason being 'we ordered too many things'. They served alcoholic drink to my friend who ordered non-alcoholic and only told her after she drank it... Overall dining experience is bad and if I were you, I'll avoid this place at all cost!!

My friend chanced upon Zoe Raymond's blog post on this beautiful themed restaurant at Clark Quay & suggested that we have our March babies celebration there. However, we were greatly disappointed by the service rendered. We made reservations for 14 on a Sunday noon & when we reached, the table was not set-up! Service was extremely slow it took them close to 25mins to serve us ice water when the restaurant is only about 10% occupied; to be exact, apart from us which is in a group of 11 adults & 5

We made reservations for 14 on a Sunday noon & when we reached, the table was not set-up! Service was extremely slow it took them close to 25mins to serve us ice water when the restaurant is only about 10% occupied; to be exact, apart from us which is in a group of 11 adults & 5 kids, there's only a table of 4 & another table of 2 in the entire restaurant.

When we asked for Carbonara which is meant for the kids to be served first, we were told that all other items that we ordered will have to wait for a while more cos we ordered many items

The menus are printed black & white on A4 plain paper, and the menus were all crumpled & with food stains. One of the menu is even torn already! The fonts on the menu is pretty nice but too difficult to read also.

I had Boneless Short Ribs ($34) which I feel it's more like beef stew. Beef was quite tender thou

We were taken aback when the bill was presented! OH MY GOSH ... Total damage of $628.50, which is like $57/pax! It was definitely over-priced & with the unsatisfactory service!

Bliss House Theme Restaurant is a new restaurant at The Central, Clarke Quay. I chanced upon Zoe Raymond's blog about this place and thought it was quite an interesting place just like the Fullhouse theme restaurant at Hotel Rendezvous. My group of gal friends loved the concept of Fullhouse when they were there and thus, I asked them whether they would like to celebrate our March birthday celebration here. The birthday gal agreed and thus, we proceed with the reservation. (Actually, no reservation is required.)

The dining area was quite nice, with pure white furnishing. The place looked clean and bright. Initially, we thought we would have a great time here but......

First, we were really surprised that their menu looked quite shabby. They were not even laminated and some were quite torn and with stains. There was no photo of the food in the menu and the fonts were quite difficult to read.

Secondly, service was unacceptably slow. Other than our group of 10 adults and a few kids, there were only about 3 other pairs of customers in the whole restaurant. However, it took them almost 20 minutes just to serve us our ice water!

My friend who doesn't drink alcohol, requested for her margarita to be served without alcohol. She took a few sips immediately when her drink was being served to her. However, after quite a while, the waitress came back with another cup of margarita and told my friend that the one she was having, actually contained alcohol!

The appetizers and side dishes were served after quite a long wait.

After almost 45 minutes, our mains were still not being served yet. We ordered our food at around 1pm and near 2pm, the kids were very hungry and so were the adults. When we told the staff to serve the kids their carbonara first, she told us that it might disrupt the flow in the preparation of the dishes and the adults might have to wait even longer for our mains to arrive!! With so few customers, they already couldn't cope. I wonder whether they plan for the restaurant to be 100% full?

All of us were starving. Since we had bought a birthday cake from Swissbake, we decided to sing the birthday song to the 2 birthday gals first so that we could eat the cake first!


I ordered the Seafood Spaghetti with tomato sauce ($26).

The meal cost a whooping $628.50, which averaged to $57 per pax! We all felt that most of the dishes were overpriced and with the slow and inattentive service, this meal definitely not worth this price.

I went to this blisshouse restaurant @ central. The surrounding was really dark but i really like the atmosphere as when you walk in, you are surrounded by the flower as it was a newly open shop. There is this nice lovely cage to sit down and i took a photo with it. There is this small bridge which we have to walk pass to walk to the tables. I only ate the tapas which is only the snack it cost really expensive. The design of the plate definitely nice but the food was not that good. One of the di

I only ate the tapas which is only the snack it cost really expensive. The design of the plate definitely nice but the food was not that good. One of the dishes is beer battered tempura style soft shell crab. This dish cost $14. I feel the dry fried fish have covered the taste of the small fried soft shell crab. Another dish was prawn chorizo, the ham was with the prawn. The ham was the nicest of everything. This dish cost $12.
