Breeks used to be popular in the past as a western food joint but I guess its standards have dropped (or was never there?). Was looking for a place to eat and there was a long queue everywhere, so I decided to have a meal at Breeks (which explains the lack of a queue). Staff were friendly and promptly served drinking water and made some recommendations. Chose the spicy fish with rice, which was a bad choice, as the rice wasn't to my liking, and the fish, your typical frozen dory fillet.

Breeks Cafe is a Halal restaurant. I ordered their Cajun chicken chop on a sizzling plate! $15.90comes with potato wedges and greens! Disappointed that there wasn't any gravy to poured over the food, instead there are only dips for me to dip on either curry or chilli ! It makes the chicken very dry. and the potato wedge and greens are nothing special too! Overpriced for a meal

I am quite particular of the soup standard whenever I have soup during my meals. For this cream of chicken, I should say the standard is quite bad. The texture of the soup is very watery and the cream used in it is not fragrant as well. I could not really find much chicken diced meat inside the soup and it was not served really hot to my table too. I may not be considering to have it during my next round of visit.

Some of the cutlery that is decorated at the table.This is placing of the salt and pepper. It is really neat.Ice cream with brownie was nice. I really love the matching of the food.This is the buffalo wing. First, i thought was some beef food but i asked it was chicken wing. It was spicy. I have 2 choice to choose the sauce. I have choose the non spicy one however it turn out spicy.

Went to Breeks Cafe which is a Halal Restaurant to celebrate my friends' birthday. Its has a nice environment with warm lighting though it isn't really big. This is a good place for friends' gathering or to avoid the crowd in Orchard Road. Due to its location, there isnt much people who knows this place unless they really do a careful research of the directory of Ngee Ann City.The cajun chicken sizzling plate is nice with waffle fries. However, the sides, kacang puteh i suppose is a bit spicy due to the pepper. The brownie is part of the set is delicious and chocolatey. I like it. The other 2 dish is ordered by my friends. At Breeks, the serving is quite large and it is a value for money and satisfying meal.The service crews are friendly and will attend to our needs as soon as possible.
