Cafe Swiss serves decent international buffet lunch, with a capacity of 210 dine in restaurant. The restaurant uses natural lighting from its overhead glass roof thus it can get pretty warm on a hot day.Though the food selection isn't much but it serves slightly better quality of food. Just because it is located in town area, it cost slightly more than other buffets. However for the price I'm paying with the spread, I would go else where more money worthy places. This is the first time I eat in this kind of luxurious restaurant and enjoy it's facilities. I decided to have my dinner at Cafe Swiss @ Swissotel after my work as a part time crew. As you can see from the above photograph, this restaurant was being designed in a stylishly modern setting.I like the Cafe potatoes and fruits.Fresh water seafood.I also tried their variety of tempting Sushi set because I am the Japanese lover due to salmon.I love the dessert corner most as they have some yummy desserts that I like.If you love to have a delicious food festival this season, I would like to recommend you to be heading towards here with your family and friend for enjoying the delicious International cuisine.

We visited Café Swiss for their 1-for-1 buffet lunch (DBS promotion) and were pleasantly surprised by their variety and quality of food. There were a total of six stations as follow:- Hot Station: Ham, pasta, scrambled eggs- Cooked Station: Assortment of international fare- Japanese/Seafood Station: Sushi, sashimi, soba, prawns, clams- Salad Station: Assortment of greens and cold cuts- Bread and Cheese Station: Assortment of artisan bread rolls and cheese- Dessert Station: Cakes, tarts, shooters, fruits, chocolate fondue, cookiesMy personal favourite was the Hot Station as the Gammon Ham they were serving tasted really fantastic! The Dessert Station was quite delectable as well with irresistible sweet treats that were delicately prepared. The variety of food from their Japanese/Seafood Station paled in comparison to the other stations, although by no means of lesser standard or quality! There were only salmon sashimi, cold prawns and clamsOverall, it’s still worth a visit for the ambience, service and quality of food!

The Cafe Swiss is an elegantly, soothingly-darkly lit restaurant that is aptly described as its counterpart outlet in Swissotel Tallinn as “a modern restaurant with an inviting aura of contemporary elegance, warmth and a breath or inspirational charm”.The quietly polite waiter escorted us to our reserved table after checking with us if we would like buffet or ala carte dinner; we opted for the latter, setteld in, and placed our orders.Amelia* had the Sole Fish Fillet – creamily baked to tender perfection, bringing out the freshness of the sweet-fleshed fish. The flavours of this healthy dish was jazzed up with fine sprinkles of herbs / spices and are served alongside sweet cherry tomatoes, tiny chunks of baked potatoes and asparagus. She delighted in the colorful arrangement of this dish as well as the tastiness of it.I had the Crispy Pork Knuckle served in a pan, surrounded by German potato salad, radish chunks and whole-grain mustard. It was a very hearty dish, one eaten best over drinks – I loved the crispiness of the skin of course, as unhealthy as it probably was. The meat within was firm but not hard, and while rather bland, the texture was great when chewed along with the crisps of its skin. The mustard grains and chunks of radish and potatoes were delicious as well, but too much to take in overall; it was a rather large portion, which is good news for the big eaters. For more detailed information and photos, do visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2013/12/dinner-at-cafe-swiss-swissotel.html

During Christmas this year, Café Swiss @ Swissotel The Stamford is having DBS 1-for-1 for their festive lunch & dinner buffet. We decided to try out cafe swiss as we read reviews about it and since it's 1-for-1 deal.Started off w the greens and the wide selections of salad in big pots - taste decent. Moving on to their savory dishes, a variety of picks for cheese fondue. Pasta & Omelette station - A choice of tomato or mushroom sauce for your pasta. I had numerous servings of it because of their flavorful mushroom sauce w generous servings of mushroom. Delicious! What's Christmas without roasted turkey? Serving alongside were the German sausages as well. Not to miss the Japanese station, assorted sushi and salmon sashimi. Sashimi were average, not too fresh either. Seafood cold section - Chilled clams, mussels and fresh prawns. The dessert section were pleasant and satisfying though the variety were limited, considering it's a lunch buffet. There were the log cakes and festive fruit cakes as well! We end off with some sweets from a spread of cakes to pick from. Café Swiss is a buffet that offers a limited spread yet good quality of food. Some were above our expectations while some fell short. Is it worth it?
