Hort Park is a beautiful location and this restaurant is set within the park. I have been to this restaurant several times as it is the only option for food and refreshments within the park. This time, I ordered the vegan burger. The plant based patty was very juicy and yummy. Fries were skinny and crispy (if you like Macdonald's fries, you'll like these).There's an indoor and outdoor sitting area. Many large tables (10-12), with fewer smaller tables. There's an indoor and outdoor sitting area. Many large tables (10-12), with fewer smaller tables. I prefer to sit inside (Aircon) and despite being indoors there are plentiful plants giving an outdoor feel. Although there were many empty large tables, I was told they were reserved (mind you the time was 1.30pm), and I was sat outside (bring ear plugs for the noisy fan).
The service has been less than jolly on the times I've come. It is very difficult to get service and the wait for the food is long. For plant and nature lovers, this is a never o'mind as you enjoy the surroundings. If they improved the service and some of the food, this would be a good destination dining restaurant.
