I was here to have lunch with my friend who work nearby and they was having some promotion that day. Unlimited vege and this plate only cost me $8.80! Super cheap and worth it for the amount of portion! The stabdard of the food is good too. I specially like the smoked salmon and black pepper sausage. Dinner out with my boyfriend, we came to Cedele Restaurant. I was curious about the main course, because from what I know, it was famous selling pastries and High-tea dessert.Located at Swiss-hotel, Cedele was quite small and without complicated decorations. There were plenty of empty seats in the restaurant, even dinner time. It offered the finest quality of food and healthy cuisine, just like what the paper stated under the plate. They emphasized nutritionally delicious, Asian-inspired concept. For me, Cedele was a unique restaurant. Comfort food that was cooked-well and soaked-well, the grilled chicken was moist yet tender. I looked plain, but it was actually flavourful. The ingredients were natural, fresh and light. For the Potatoes Patty, it was not only a dressing, but also tasted heavenly cheesy. Heard alot of good reviews about Cedele and decided to have a try. We called to book beforehand but realized that there isnt a need to book as they are alot of seats available when we reach. My friends and I went on a monday evening and we have difficulties finding the place at raffles city shopping centre. It is actually located at one corner and you will have to turn into one of the aisle towards Fairmont hotel. I decided to try their pasta and ordered the mushroom and bacon pasta. It is something like carbonara but the sauce is quite unique. However, the linguine is quite hard, not fully cooked. i would prefer the linguine to be softer. Another friend of mine ordered another type of pasta and her spaghetti was quite hard too. I find that they should cook the pasta longer so that it will be softer. Their sauce actually saved the whole pasta dish. The sauce is thick and unique.My friend ordered their sandwich and she was given choices for her bread. she ordered the bread with walnut and it tasted very nice. She ordered the chicken peperonata burger and it was awesome! carrot walnut cake.It is the best seller! It is very unique as there are many walnuts at the side. Bought a rugelach pastry from cedele out of curiosity after reading its interesting name. Surprisingly this pastry is not what I expected to be like. I expected a cookie like snack however it was actually very soft and not crisp like what I expected. I'm back at Cedele AGAIN, for their fabulous cakes!I've got to admit, their cake are really good that keeps me coming back for more!Given my previous experience, I reckon that their chocolate are the best, and hence, decided to order this chocolate cheesecake for a try! Although it appears that the layer of cheese cream to be in larger portion and might take away the taste of chocolate, you are absolutely wrong!! The glittering layer of chocolate cream actually covers the tast of cheese more than the other way. As a chocolate lover, this is fantastic!
