I am very much a noodle person and this is one of the noodle stalls that i have been patronising regularly. The regular bowl of noodle is $3.30 but a bowl of such noodle with a hot pot of soup is only $4.00. It is definitely more economic to go with the latter. My choice of noodle has always been the thinner version of kway teow with the extra amount of chilli added. It served with a fair amount of braised mushroom. The pot of hot soup came with a handful of ingredients in it. It has pork liver, lean meat, minced meat, fishball and a poached egg. The soup tasted rather light. A simple choice but an enjoyable meal.

This is another famous mushroom minced pork noodle in Ang Mo Kio. Their standard can be quite inconsistent. At times, the vinegar taste can be rather overpowering so i always ask the auntie to go easy with it. The texture of the mee kia has always been spot on. The nicely springy noodle served with ingredients like minced meat, lean meat, meatballs and stewed mushroom. When tossed it well with the sauce mix, it tasted quite good.

I was here for dinner with my son. He used to take away this noodle for me but stopped doing so after they started to charge an additional 0.20 cents for taking away. We ordered a mee pok dry to share. They cooked the mee pok nicely to have the springy texture. It has got ingredients like big sliced of pork's liver, minced meat, mushroom etc. I got to agree that the liver was overcooked. The fried wanton is a nice surprise and tasted good too.
