Chicken Rice - Banquet (已結業)

Finally Banquet that has been renovating, past their supposedly opening date, finally opened. I went there to get my favourite chicken rice at the now-named food court – Cantine. The staff who served me was warm and friendly.I got the Roasted Chicken Rice ($4.80) and got my favourite part of the chicken, chicken wing! Whenever I'm craving for chicken rice, I would always come to this shop. It is definitely my favourite chicken rice shop and their standard has always been consistent. The rice itself is not too dry, which is an important factor to me because I dislike choking on dry rice. The chicken, also is not juicy, is very tender. What makes the whole dish my favourite is the sauce that they would add in. I suppose its some kind of home-made sauce because they keep it in regular unlabelled water bottles. A

Tried their selection of meat and nothing special.Ordered both white and roast chicken.Their rice is definitely not as fragrant as Boon Tong Kee.Their chicken is a little hard and dry. Not to try unless you have no other choice.
