Was visiting my old colleagues at lower delta and decide to go lunch with them nearby; we went Kopitiam at Tiong Bahru Plaza. I ordered Roasted Chicken Rice. This is the first time I’ve had roasted chicken with such crispy skin as usually the skin is soggy. The Chicken is tender and juicy. The Rice hits the perfect 3 Fs, Flavourful, Fluffy and Fragrant! I’m impressed with the chicken rice from this stall, highly recommended.

I ordered the chicken rice for 2 pax, which comes with a huge portion of roasted chicken meat, 2 plate of chicken rice and a side dish of oyster sauce xiao bok choy. The roasted chicken tasted sweet and different from other chicken rice stall, and surprisingly I like it a lot. The chicken meat is tender and juicy too! and I am glad and pleased with the portion given (de-boned and is drumstick part). The chicken rice is a little dry and doesn't have that kind of fragrant smell I am looking for... The vegetables is pretty normal though, boiled in hot water and top up with oyster sauce and fried garlic. The whole thing cost around $15, which I think is very worth it though.
