Cold Stone Creamery

Went to Cold stone creamery for our tea break after shopping around Orchard. This is my third time eating ice cream here. Previously, I tried their blueberry cheesecake ice cream & chocolate mint ice cream. This round I tried a 4oz ($6) chocolate ice cream mixed with a scoop of peanut butter & one Reese's peanut buttercup. I reckon notin is better than the combination of chocolate with peanut butter. Simply love that flavour! However, come to think of it, the price is a bit steep for that small cup of ice cream. Probably will not buy ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery anymore since I can always buy a tub of icecream & add whatever toppings I want. Tried icecream from Cold Stone Cremery for the first time. My child was quite amazed. First, you get to choose the iceream, and the toppings. And the staff will "cook" the icecream in front of you - mixing up with all the toppings. We ordered the icecream with the waffle base, and to our surprise, the staff performed an amazing act in front of us. i paid about $13.80 for this waffle with 2 scoops of icecreams,1 scoop of chocolate and 1 scoop of vanilla flavour.i waited for about 15 minutes for my waffle to be ready.In my opinion it is rather pricey as the portion was normal and the ice cream scoops were quite small too.The taste of the waffle and icecreams were of normal standard,nothing special to rave about.It would be better if they were to top some fresh cut fruits such a strawberries with some whipped cream,plus a sprinkle of some rainbow chocolate chips to make this dish more attractive and worth it.…查看更多

Cold Stone Creamery is definitely one of the top few ice-cream franchise that I always frequent. We can choose from the signature creations or mix & match yourself! To save the trouble, we usually ordered the in-house creations.The signature creations are priced at $5.50 for 4 oz (smallest size), and $1 top-up for the waffle bowl. Banana Caramel CrunchFrench Vanilla Ice Cream, Roasted Almonds,Banana & CaramelI tried both Banana Caramel Crunch & Coffee Lovers, both I like! So my conclusion is, any creations with roasted almonds & caramel must be good.Cheesecake Fantasy was a tad sour for my liking, so I polly will give cheesecake icecream a miss next time... erm, forever.
