I was not feeling very well thus I decided to have something light instead. Thus I ordered a pig organs congee. The you tiao was not very crispy and quite hard. The pig organs were not very fresh and the person serving me was rather unfriendly and impatient. I think I will not patronise the stall again as I was quite disappointed with the congee. Maybe for those who want to go, they can give their fish congee a try. It looks not bad. 繼續閱讀

Can't resist a bowl of porridge eventhough the weather may be scorching hot, I will still want to brave it. Saw the menu on the board so deccided to have the mixed pork with century egg at $4.00 a bowl. It was really delicious, the texture of the porridge were smooth and the meat were tender and well seasoned. A piece of yu tiao accompanied along with the porridge and it was still piping hot and crispy which were great. 繼續閱讀

The store seems to have changed names but the food is still the same. The porridge comes very boiling hot and takes a while to cool down enough to consume. It's thick and flavourful and there're a few flavours to choose from. I like the century egg ones. They also have deep fried tofu and cuttlefish as extras. The service can be quick and accurate depending on who is serving. The food quality is consistent. Recommended. Reasonably priced. Good food for rainy days. 繼續閱讀

This stall is always the must have stall for me if I'm having my meal at the Old Airport. This stall not only sells porridge, they do sell some kind of noodle and fried Tou Fu.What's so special about this stall is that they fried their You Tiao on the spot itself, so it is very fresh and crispy. Unlike most of the congee stalls which give moderate or little You Tiao, they give 1 stick of the You Tiao uncut. So you are suppose to dip your You Tiao with the congee. You can also request to have your You Tiao cut, which I usually does. And their congee does not come with egg, you have to pay $0.20 to have it in.Their porridge is cook very finely, the chicken is not those tiny slice pieces of chicken but small cube of chicken which is very tender and very generous. But I hate patronizing them during peak hours because I can't get the individual soya sauce and pepper set to myself. As I like to have my congee with additional pepper and soya sauce, and it is kind of weird to walk back to the stall to just simply add pepper and soya sauce. Thus, if you are like me, best to request to add more pepper or soya sauce before you head back to your table! 繼續閱讀
