I had this Duck Rice - $3 takeaway for early dinner. The rice is still okay, with the mixture of the sauce make it really tasty. The meat is also not very hard, nice to bite, soft and chewy. I told the aunty not to put chilli but she still put it anyway. The peanuts and the braised egg is normal (which is the same as other places). Pricing-wise, it is still acceptable because I was given quite a big portion.

The Kway Chap here is excellent. The uncle takes a lot of pains to wash the intestines so you get no off putting flavour. The braising sauce is good and all the intestines have been braised till its absolutelysoft. Unlike other hawkers, he chops up the trotters first before braising them in a special thick caramelly spiced gravy till the collagen is turned into that sticky slimy goodness that we all loved
