Was around the area and walk past this area. Decided to go for the beehoon as been quite sometime the last i had it. Ordered beehoon together with egg, vegetable, beancurd and luncheon meat.Beehoon is tasty and is still hot when i have it. Luncheon meat and beancurd is well fry and is not too salty. Vegetable is tasty too and is fresh. Egg is well fried and tasty as well. Total cost is $3.50. 繼續閱讀

I came back to try the ngoh hiang dishes at night after sometime from my previous visit. What I like the most was the sauce with peanut provided to dip the ngoh hiang in! It smells really fragrant and adds to the taste of the ngoh hiang in your mouth. There was also numerous peanut bits which further enhances the taste. I choose the tofu, some type of fish cake with garnishes in it and the acclaimed ngoh hiang. (P.S. this ngoh hiang store is quite famous for it's ngoh hiang)The tofu was ok, deep fried to a crispy brown but I felt that the corners were a little too hard and dry. The fish cake was quite interesting due to the little garnishes in it, not to bad. Lastly, the ngoh hiang was pretty good. It taste a little different from the other places as it was handmade but i wouldn't say it's out of this world. Beehoon taste the same as the one from morning so they probably keep frying the whole day through which makes it very fresh. The total cost was about $3.50-$4 which I felt was a little pricey for these few ingredients. I should probably stick to their breakfast 'menu' so as to avoid the heavy cost. 繼續閱讀

Went for supper at the hawker centre. It was still super busy & we had to wait for a table for 2! Ordered the bee hoon as we didn't want a too heavy supper. We had ngoh hiang, spring roll and fish kind of ngoh hiang.Bee hoon ($0.70): Nice & springy. Not too oily. Loved the spring roll ($1) as it it filled with loads of vege. There is even long beans in it.. It was very crispy & the skin wasn't too thick.ngoh hiang is handmade by the store so had quite high expectation of it. But, it was not superbly fantastic & cost a hefty $2!fish kind of ngoh hiang ($1): I didn't try it but boyfriend love it! So, it should be petty decent. We didn't try the chilli that comes with it as we don't take spicy food. But, there are bits of peanuts in it so it should taste quite nice as we see people going back to get more chilli.Overall, I feel that this meal is too expensive. $4.70 for a simple economical bee hoon store.Might try it in the morning & review. 繼續閱讀
