After fetching my nephew back from his piano , we settled down a forest Dew Vegetarian Restaurant near his school for dinner. The restaurant has a wide range of vegetarian dishes and reasonable and delicious We liked the deep fried abalone mushroom as it was crispy outside and juicy and soft. The mango prawn also taste nice with the sauce. Spent $15/pax for this meal. 繼續閱讀

Forest Dew Restaurant located near Boon Keng MRT was famous for vegetarian food. Maybe you cannot imagine how capable they performing their dishes without any meat, fish or chicken. The huge variety of vegetarian food I didn't seen before, a wide range of choices until we don't know what supposed to order. The waiter then recommended us some signature dishes which their chef proud of. The restaurant was not too big, but looked clean with tables and chairs neatly arranged.($6.00 per plate)My first try, Vegetarian Satay. It really tasted like normal chicken satay, it was tender and the sauce was made with coconut milk and peanut butter which was savory , spicy and slightly sweet. ($18.00 per big bowl)It sounds a bit funny, indeed, its name was Fish Curry but without putting any fish inside the curry. We found Beans, Potatoes, Tomatoes 'Tou Pok' and 'vegetarian fish'. ($12.00 per pot)Suprisingly, the soup full of freshness of vegetable and 'Tofu'. Although it was plain, yet, because it was served in small pot, the soup appeared delicious as it combined all tastes of vegetables. The soup is always hot for you.($10.00 per plate)I hate those dry-fried long beans which were served uncut. That's why I quite happy with the size of beans here. For the taste, it was simple, just like what my mum cooking. ($9.00 per plate)The waiter told us the secret recepi from chef, the 'pork' was deep-fried twice for extra crispiness. It was pretty good! No matter for its looking or the taste.($8.00 per big plate)It tasted like Cantonese Fried Rice, with seaweed, carrot, corn and egg which looked colourful and tasted flavourful too.(2.50 per any 3 flavours)Jello, maybe some of peoples called it Agar-agar, was a simple dessert which suitable for eating after meal. It was not too sweet for both flavours. We ordered Lemon, Strawberry and Sour Plum. Too bad, I only can upload maximum eight pictures here. The food really surprised me, never thought that vegetarian food also can be so delicious. Overall, the portion is okay for us, so as to the price. It was reasonable and we enjoyed to eat vegetarian here. For you information, all of us are meat-hunter. 繼續閱讀

This is a neighbourhood vegetarian restaurant located in Bendemeer area. Parking is ample (just outside the restaurant). I find the restaurant very cosy. Moreover, it is not crowded at all. Great for gathering with family or friends. The food is nice. They have quite a lot of dishes that you can choose from. Highly recommended the Mango prawns. It comes with rich mango sauce and not so sweet. The prawns (made of flour) tastes great too. It may be a vegetarian restaurant, the food quality is quite up to standard. Tried their fried rice, hor fen. All tastes good too. Not too salty or bland. Moreover the price is reasonable, you can order up to your heart content. The beancurd is very soft with some soy sauce. Light dish. They even have vegetarian burgers! The service is quite good too. 繼續閱讀

This is a very nice inexpensive vegetarian restaurant located in Boon Keng MRT area. Their curry basil fried rice is exceptionally good that I ordered 3 times in a role, while I have visited them about 5 times with my colleagues. The fishpaste noodle soup is also very good, it's homemade there.Note: during weekdays, they offered special set lunch combination. I personally found it pretty good deal and the portion is huge, relatively speaking. 繼續閱讀

My dad's a vegetarian & it is almost an uphill task to find vegetarian food whenever we were out together as a family. Sometimes, it was so bad that we had to eat zi char, minus the garlic & meat that they usually put in vegetable dishes. Thus, when my dad's b'dae was near, i asked around for nice vegetarian places which i could bring my dad to. Someone recommended me Forest Dew Vegetarian Restaurant, & so i decided to give it a try. We ordered their specialty dishes, which included Stir-fried Watercress ($4), Olive Rice ($3.80), Pineapple Rice with Veggie Floss ($6), Black Pepper Mushroom Meat Balls ($10), Satay and Hotplate Tofu. The watercress was crunchy, unlike some places where vthe egetables are normally soggy. The olive rice and pineapple rice was not too oily, just nice. The best was the black pepper mushroom mock meat balls & mock satay, they tasted just like real meat! It's a must order when u come here! Tofu was a tad too oily, must remind the counter staff for less oil if u were to order this. The prices here are also quite reasonable despite it being a restaurant, & the food is nice. Order is to be written on a sheet of paper, & taken to the counter though. The good thing is you are able to request for less oil, MSG or spiciness, but do remember to remind them cos although i ticked the 3 request boxes on the paper, the food that arrived was still rather oily. Another addition plus point to take note, it is a 100% REAL vegetarian restaurant, which doesn't serves eggs or onion! Try to take public transport, as the carpark outside the restaurant is quite small, & it takes some time to find a parking space! 繼續閱讀
